Thickness Measurement

The primary use for the assay is Ultrasonic Measurement of thickness, which can measure the thickness of a material without access procedure, the pulse-echo technique with a device which is called D-Meter.

An ultrasonic pulse is generated and transmitted through a particular transducer, coupled to the material. The ultrasonic pulses reflected by the opposite surface of the part are detected by the transducer, converted into electronic signals and displayed on the handset screen.

Widely used for checking thickness of equipment for checking wear long service, and calculation of equipment based on their current conditions and also to check the calculation of remaining life of the equipment, which might have an estimate of when will be the date of substitution equipment, making a scheduled basis avoiding trouble and excessive spending.
